We do believe in a competitive Business Model based on OpenSource software.
The development process based on this open model has demostrated to be an effective way to decrease development time and design, implementation, probes and quality control costs.
Some of the reasons why we have chosen this way to do software for Osmius are the followings:
The Open Source licence makes it possible to use, inspect, extend and modify the entire Osmius platform.
All of this supported by the vast development, analysis and research documentation we are trying to generate to differenciate this project from others not so well documented.
There are big and consolidated bright projects who have been possible thanks to an "Open" development process. OSS is an expanding process in several areas like the business world, educations and universities, hacker community and industry. Open source represents the most significant all-encompassing and long-term trend that the software industry has seen since the early 1980s.
Thanks to the common efforts between Complutense Univertity and the R&D Department in Peoplewarewe are pleased to present the papers and results entitled "Trend prediction : performing sequential pattern mining in Osmius".
