David Sanz García

David is founder partner of Peopleware and he is currently the Chief Executive Officer. He studied IT Engineering and Enterprise Management on the University of Southern Mississippi (Institution of Spain). He has develop his career in the Information Technology arena, mostly in the TelCo market, and has been working on software development and administration projects, always focusing on performance needs. During last years he has been an entrepreneur and he is now interested in Free/Open Software and Clean Energies.

José Luis Marina

José Luis is the Research and Development Manager at Peopleware and is in charge of the relationship with the universities in several projects. He is B.S in Phisics Sciences at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and is currently working on his thesis on software engineering at Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia in Spain. His professional career has been always related to IT on the fields of software development and systems administration over several countries in Europe and South America normally on big Telco or Gas companies. Currently he is interested on high quality free/open source software and on distributed systems and IA applied to supervising and monitoring software.

Jesús Carlos Pancorbo

Jesus Carlos Pancorbo Lopez, B.S. in Mathematical Sciences at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and currently writing his thesis on computer languages and systems at Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia (UNED). Permanent professor in the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija (Madrid), collaborates in diverse projects of investigation and research. One of these is the project being developed by the UNED department of computer languages and systems, called "I-PETERII: An intelligent tutoring system for business English with an adaptive model for personalised diagnosis and material selection". This project is being economically supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Spain. Another project Mr. Pancorbo is working at is "PRODELE: Creation of a didactic multimedia prototype to train elders to teach Spanish as a foreing language" under the Spanish national plan of R+D+R run by the IMSERSO (Elder and Social Service Institute), in colaboration with the applied languages department at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija.

Javier Arriero País

Javier is a Computer Engineer as well as a graduated Statistician, both degrees granted by the University Carlos III of Madrid. He has been awarded several scholarships and internships, including one within the Computing Service at his home university and another one at IBM to work as a supporting technician to deploy the internal business forecasting tool over the EMEA/SPGIT region. He has developed different kinds of software over multiple platforms. His current main concerns are performing well within the Osmius core team and learning German, which can in turn become a mean to spread the value of the project.

Eduardo Fernández-Vega Sanabria

Eduardo is an Aeronautical Engineer at the Universidad Politecnica of Madrid. His professional career has been related to IT on the fields of software development and systems administration on Telco and Gas companies. Eduardo is currently the System Architecture Manager of a Gas company. One of his personal main concerns is the collaboration in the development of Osmius.

José Antonio Cabezón Vicente

José Antonio is Technical Engineer in Management Computer Science by the Computer Science Systems School in Madrid, in where also he obtained the HND in Information Technologies on the Enterprise. He has developed his professional race in diverse companies oriented to the information technologies sector. Initially, he was making consulting tasks for enterprise applications in different platforms and frameworks, either in the client side and in the server side. Lately he has dedicated, in a exclusive mode, to the development of spatial data management applications, in where he has applied the new emergent technologies in the market.

José Ángel Chico

Chico is Technical Engineer in Systems Computer Science by the Computer Science Systems School in Madrid. His professional career has been always tied to IT in the area of software development, in projects of very diverse nature (payroll, telecommunications, digital cartography, routing,…) with different architectures (CORBA, J2EE,etc), operative systems (Linux, Solaris, Windows) and programming languages (C, C++,Java). Related to Osmius, he is member of the Web Console Team, a tool which main task is to administer the monitoring process of Osmius.

Samer Hassan Collado

Samer is a Computer Engineer granted by the University Complutense of Madrid, and currently is studying his Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems in this university. From a multi-disciplinar point of view, he has been studying simultaneously Political Science at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia in Spain. He has been involved in several initiatives of software development, like telemedicine applications or automotion security systems. He belongs to a research group in intelligent software agents, frame where he is developing a social simulation multi-agent system. Nowadays he is working hard on his Ph.D..

Manuel Fraga Castro

Manuel Guillermo is a Computer Engineer as well as a Technical Engineer in Systems Computer Science, both degrees granted by the University Antonio de Nebrija of Madrid. He has been awarded system administration functions in the Computer Support and Technology Departament at this university. In addition he has been the computer science person in charge of one of the campuses of the university and he has headed groups of technicians. Manuel is professor in the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija center of professional advising teaching Computer Basic for Professionals. His current main concern is Osmius, and is because this reason he's starting a Ph. D. to add value to the development project.

Rafael Carreño

Rafael Carreño Expósito has a B.S in Computer Science from the Science University in París. His professional carreer has always been related to IT companies both in France and in Spain. His activity has been mainly focused on software engineering : development and product planning and definition, in international projects. These past few years, he’s been working in the R+D management staff of an important company, developing software projects for several areas (software engineering, marketing, e-learning) that have been funded under R+D National and International Plans. While working with Peopleware he helped develop a R+D strategy in order to manage (from proposals to justification) National Research funds for Osmius.

Until now Osmius image over the internet was "osmius.net " responsability.  From today you can find consulting, support, development and training services in the new site.

Osmius 8.07 released. 07-24-2008

Osmius 8.07 is now available for you to download.

You'll find an automatic "one-click-button" installer  and also the tradicional compiling from the source way.

The new features are many and addressing several monitoring fields, so is better to try it and take a glace to the documentation. With this release we're trying to compete face-to-face with the "big" ones as a small sized company but open, with a sustainable business model, taking care of our own people, capable of creating good and quality products having also a great personal and family life. Why not?
